Meet Megan McIntyre, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker | She/Her/Hers

You’re already stronger than you think you are.

You do not have to go on this journey alone.

You’re in the right place.

Mental health disorders and mental health stressors can be crippling and isolating. You may be experiencing feelings of self doubt, thoughts of hopelessness, or may be overwhelmed. In addition to the day-to-day struggles, situations may arise that can appear impossible to conquer. You may be in a dark place where you feel completely alone and scared. You may be saying to yourself I’m lazy or I’m stupid or I’m not good enough. Why is it okay to say those things to yourself if you wouldn’t say them to your friends, family, or even strangers? If you are not equipped with the necessary tools to overcome this negative self-talk, it will continue to weigh you down.

Having a compassionate therapist in your corner will help you to learn coping skills, reframe your negative thoughts, and provide you with support, encouragement, and a listening ear along the way. Allow me to walk with you during this difficult journey. As a mental health professional with over 14 years of varied experience, my goal is to help you navigate life’s turbulent waters by providing you with validation, helping you to develop coping strategies, and allowing you to explore your thoughts and worries in a safe, caring, and judgment-free space. Together we can help you heal and find meaning in your life again.
