  • Women are often taught from an early age to not get pregnant until they are ready to take on the responsibilities of having a child. This leads to the assumption that when she is ready, it will be a quick and easy process. Unfortunately, as I know from personal experience, for many women, that is not always the case. When they are then faced with infertility, or pregnancy / infant loss, it can be jarring and can lead to feelings of deep despair and uncertainty. It can be difficult to work through the emotions and feelings of loneliness and isolation that accompany this journey. I am here to help.

Experiencing postpartum depression / anxiety / mood disorders can also be very isolating and confusing since you may have tried so hard / desperately wanting to have your baby. This is common and treatable. Please know you are not alone and reach out for help.

  • Grief can be experienced after ANY loss. While it is most commonly associated with the loss of a beloved human or animal family member, it can also be due to the loss of employment, loss of a friendship, loss of a romantic relationship, loss of health or independence, and so on. Unresolved grief can create more serious problems later in life, including depression, isolation, and substance abuse. I am here to help.

  • The average person will spend more than 90,000 hours at work over a lifetime. It is no wonder then that work related stress is a leading cause of depression, anxiety, substance abuse, sleeping difficulties, and low self-esteem. Some of the many causes of work-related stress include long hours, heavy workload, hazing and humiliation, and conflicts with co-workers and bosses. Oftentimes, those suffering from work-related stress don’t know where to turn or how to work through their feelings. I am here to help.
